Welcome to Gifted Services at Arlington Traditional School!  Please take a look through the helpful links to discover more about what ATS has to offer our growing scholars.  Mr. Michael Rumerman, Advanced Academics Coach (AAC), is ready to support teachers and students to engage in high-level thinking and rigorous resources.

Mr. Rumerman has been a classroom teacher since 2011, including seven years in fourth grade at ATS. He received his M.Ed in curriculum and instruction from the University of Maryland. Now as the AAC at ATS, he is currently earning an endorsement in gifted education from the University of Virginia. He is an avid Washington Nationals fan and family chef. Originally from Maryland, he now lives in Alexandria with his wife, son and daughter.
