We are off to a great school year! Here are some quick reminders, links and dates to note:

  • Subscribe to the ATS Calendar: Visit and select either + iCal Subscribe (for Apple devices) or + Google Calendar (for Android devices) to subscribe to the ATS calendar. Any APS and ATS events added to our calendar will automatically populate to your device calendar throughout the year. Events include Early Release days, assemblies, SCA Spirit Days, School Picture Day, and so much more!
  • School Pictures: School pictures will be taken on Thursday, September 27 by Strawbridge Studios.
  • ATS Night at Silver Diner: Silver Diner in Clarendon is going to let ATS have the run of the diner on Thursday, September 27 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m.! Give yourself a break from making dinner and support our school: Mention ATS and the Silver Diner will donate 20% of your bill directly back to ATS.
  • Box Tops: Box Tops will be collected by classroom teachers October 1 – 26. There will be another collection during the spring of 2019.
  • ATS PTA: Join the ATS PTA, sign up for weekly emails, and keep up to date with upcoming meetings.  The next meeting will be Tuesday, October 2 in the ATS Library from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m.

  • International Walk/Bike to School Day: Wednesday, October 10th is International Walk/Bike to School Day (rain or shine). All ATS families and staff are encouraged to join other APS schools by walking or biking to school that day. If it’s too far to walk/bike, take the school bus and leave the car at home! Help us use this fun event to highlight for our kids the health and environmental benefits of getting to school using muscle power! Rally at the ATS flagpole at 8:00 a.m. for a school photo.
  • EARLY RELEASE: Students will be dismissed at 12:51 p.m. on Wednesday, October 10.
