Instructional Technology Coordinator
As the Instructional Technology Coordinator (ITC) it is my job to help teachers increase their capacity to use instructional technology more effectively and efficiently. I love that I get to learn every day with both teachers and students.
My first classroom was a riding arena on my family’s farm in central NY. I graduated from SUNY Cortland with a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Early Secondary Education with a concentration in Mathematics. I have taught elementary through adult in several different locations during my career. I hold a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from Old Dominion University and a Masters in Supervision and Leadership from George Mason University.
When not at school I like to spend time with my husband and two daughters. I like to travel and see new places, read, quilt, garden, and watch movies.
It is hard to choose one favorite book. I like stories that can take the reader somewhere real or imaginary by painting rich pictures full of details and stories that help the reader experience new thoughts and places. One can never have too many books.
