Sandy Jacobs

Classroom Teacher

My role as a Kindergarten Teacher is to enrich the lives of children and inspire them to reach their fullest potential!

Professional Background
I attended Florida A&M University where I studied Early Childhood/Elementary Education and have been teaching ever since. I love being an educator and being able to make such a positive impression on each one of my students. I have taught for thirty-five years and this is my twenty-fifth year teaching in Arlington Public Schools. I am excited to be back at ATS for another fantastic school-year!

I am very passionate about animals and being outdoors. I enjoy reading and spending time with my family in my spare time.

Literary Connection
My favorite book to read to my class each year is “The Kissing Hand” by Audrey Penn.
