Arlington Academy of Hope (AAH) is Arlington Traditional School’s sister school founded by former ATS parents John and Joyce Wanda. It is located in Bumwalukani village in Eastern Uganda. The school opened in 2004 as a model school providing quality education to children in a village with few educational opportunities. Starting with only 78 students in 2004, the school now has 340 students, each of whom receives lunch, school supplies, and a uniform. AAH is the only school in Bumwalukani to provide these things.
For questions on how you can get involved, please e-mail former ATS parent John Wanda. Child Sponsorship – Many ATS parents sponsor a child at AAH for $400 per year. Letters are written three times each year. This is an excellent opportunity for your child to have a penpal in Uganda.
