My name is Haley Coe. I am from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. An interesting fact about me is I love dogs and have a Golden Retriever. My favorite children’s book is “Wemberly Worried” by Kevin Henkes. My favorite place to visit is North Myrtle Beach. What I love about the ATS family is everyone is so kind and welcoming.

I am from New York, New York. An interesting fact about me is I love trying new mediums and types of arts and crafts, most recently I’ve been exploring punch needle embroidery with yarn! My favorite children’s book is “Strega Nona” by Tomie dePaolo. My favorite place to visit is Spain, to visit where I’ve lived and explore new parts of the country! What I love about the ATS family is that every student is an ATS student first, so our entire community works together to support all students!

My name is Courtney Riley. I am from Arlington, Virginia. An interesting fact about me is that I used to live in Salamanca, Spain. My favorite children’s book is “Maniac Magee” by Jerry Spinelli. My favorite place to visit is a tie between Athens, Pennsylvania and Boston, Massachusetts, where I can relax and spend time with family. What I love about the ATS family is that we change lives together.

My name is Miranda Willis. I am from Roanoke, Virginia. An interesting fact about me is that I am a dedicated yogi, love to read and garden. My favorite children’s book is “Coraline” by Neil Gaiman. My favorite place to visit is Sandbridge Beach. What I love about the ATS family is the dedication to the students.

I am from Uganda. Born and raised at the gentle and raising slopes of Mt. Elgon. With over 70 languages spoken in Uganda, the people living in my community speak a language called Lugsu, one of the over 70 spoken nationwide. My favorite place to visit is Uganda and Kenya wild reserves. My favorite children’s book is "Just Like Me" by Vanessa Brantley.

My name is Rista Brown. I am from Eritrean American. An interesting fact about me is I make jewelry and pottery. My favorite children’s book is “The The Runaway Bunny” by Margaret Wise Brown. My favorite place to visit is Limburg, Germany. What I love about ATS is the school's traditional values and commitment to excellence. The staff’s dedication to student’s success academically and emotionally is reflected in their achievements. I like the positive attitudes and caring towards staff to students and staff to staff .

My name is Wala Elamin. I am from Khartoum, Sudan. An interesting fact about me is collecting and cooking recipes from around the world. My favorite children’s book is “Out of My Mind” by Sharon Draper. My favorite place to visit is national parks and beaches during Summer. What I love about the ATS family is strong sense of community.

My name is Stephanie McGrew. I am from Chantilly, VA. An interesting fact about me is in addition to being a school psychologist I am also a dance teacher! My favorite children’s book is “Matilda” by Roald Dahl. My favorite place to visit is New Mexico. What I love about the ATS family is the welcoming and collaborative sense of community!
